Product Background:

PLA, also known as polylactic acid, is an environmentally friendly bio based plastic made from renewable resources such as corn and cassava. Produced through the polymerization reaction of lactic acid, PLA has excellent environmental characteristics. It does not produce harmful substances or gases during the production process, and can be biodegraded in the natural environment after product use. The 3D model printed from PLA not only has good compatibility, gloss transparency, comfortable hand feel, good plasticity, easy molding, no curling edges, good toughness, not easy to break, low shrinkage rate, uniform color, good one-time molding effect, linear stability, high-speed printing, rich color, safe and environmentally friendly, and no pungent smell, but also has antibacterial, flame-retardant, and UV resistant properties. These characteristics make PLA widely used in multiple fields, including but not limited to packaging, fiber products, non-woven fabrics, etc. PLA also plays an important role in industries such as clothing, construction, agriculture, forestry, papermaking, home and personal 3D printing, and healthcare.

Filament Feature:

Product shortage:

  • Long term exposure of PLA to air can cause moisture and affect printing quality.
  • It has poor temperature resistance and is easily deformed at high temperatures.

Tips:

It is recommended to store unused filaments in a vacuum or sealed container as soon as possible to ensure printing quality.
